Terrible shopping experience

Terrible shopping experience. No delivery since 2 months. Customer service claims goods are kept by customs but is unwilling to do anything on that, refuses to refund. Absolutely not acceptable. Will never buy there again after Brexit.

If the option to provide 0 stars was available, that is what I would rate Harvey Nichols customer service. I would not recommend purchasing items with this department store who portray themselves to be high end when in reality they are unable to provide dust bags to designer bags. As an avid shopper I own designer bags from a variety of brands ranging from prada to fendi. My partner ordered the Burberry motif clutch for Valentine’s Day and made me aware Harvey Nichols did not provide a dust bag or box. He contacted Harvey Nichols in the hope they would send a dust bag but instead he was told dust bags are subject to availability and he has the option to return the item. Why would you spend money on a designer brand like Burberry if at minimum you are not provided with the dust bag to protect the bag. It’s utterly ridiculous. I would not recommend purchasing items through this department store. Far better customer service at Selfridges.

I recently placed an order with Harvey…

I recently placed an order with Harvey Nichols online website. I ordered a Disney X coach ask Keith haring backpack. And a Mickey Mouse Keith haring coach charm. The backpack was sold out in the US everywhere. Harvey Nichols had it. I was so super shocked that it shipped so quickly. It even arrived in the USA in just a few days. It was packed super well and nicely placed in box amongst paper. It cost a little more than USA but not by much and way cheaper than going through a third party. I am very satisfied with my order purchase experience. I am a first time customer. I would order from them again.

Disgusting

I ordered some makeup from HN online. I've used the exact same product many times. When I opened it, it has obviously been used already. At least tested by someone... and they refused to let me exchange it. "No returns on makeup" understandable... unless you're sending out used products!

Ordered 3 polo shirts the week before…

Ordered 3 polo shirts the week before Xmas. Charged for all 3. Two days later I get an email saying sorry 1 item is out of stock (still charged for 3) Xmas eve 1 polo shirt arrives in the wrong size!!! (Still charged for 3) got text yesterday morning to say 1 polo shirt is out for delivery ... guess what ? It never arrived DPD couriers don’t even have it... oh and I’ve still been charged for 3!! Got no reply from my email I sent 3 days ago either. Utter shambles of a company. I will never buy nor recommend them to anyone again

Stolen Wine & Awful Customer Service

Three bottles of wine were being sent to my father as a thank you gift. Two were delivered and the third is missing. Harvey Nichols have wiped their hands of it, no help whatsoever. Won’t even contact the carrier company (DPD) and the carrier company say they can’t help unless the sender, Harvey Nichols, is the one to contact. Very disappointing. Considering the reputation HN used to have you’d think they would at least try and help. Shockingly bad customer service.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. We used HN for our clients Xmas gifts this year, what a mistake.1) Ordered several items for a client, which clearly needed to be delivered together. They arrived in 3 separate deliveries (possibly 4, I got another e-mail about a part-delivery today!) which made us look pretty stupid. The first gift arrived and the client said thanks, by the 3rd delivery, it was getting awkward.This happened on another order too, called and spoke to HN Customer Service - apparently its my fault this happened - WOW2) I have this morning received an e-mail stating that unfortunately, the item I ordered isn't available any longer and I haven't been charged for the item - brilliant - I have no way of replacing that gift with such short notice now and that's also going to make us look pretty poor with our clients.Thanks Harvey Nichols, I came to you with an important aspect of our annual business relationship building and you didn't just make a mess of it, you took zero responsibility for it and didn't help.Moral of the story - use Harrods instead - we placed two other orders with them and they were, as usual, faultless

Lost package, no refund, no communication

Ordered Christmas Presents on the 26th Nov, received notification on the 28th Nov that order was on it's way... still not received items. They said they raised the issue with DPD and were investigating - that was over 2 weeks ago, 5 phone calls later with a promise of calling me back, Harvey Nichols have not returned calls, now phonelines switched off, I've sent countless emails chasing - basically all i wanted was my package or to replace the order, now I've not even had a refund to rebuy Christmas presents and it's unaffordable to replace without..

I thought I would be safe

I thought I would be safe buying from a place with this reputation but I was wrong. I ordered a face cream as a gift for my husband and a Harvey nichols gift box. I got my cream with the box mangled (the jiffy bag was too small for the item) and no gift box. I've had better service from prymark! I'm still waiting for a response from my email. I definitely won't be going back.

Poor service in HN Edinburgh coffee…

Poor service in HN Edinburgh coffee shop.Ordered cheese /oatcake platter....what a joke!!Cheese straight out of fridge,no oatcakes ...had to ask staff.£10.00p charge.Standard awful.Do not visit.
